Special Information

PRICES:

All prices are F.O.B. north central West Virginia and are subject to change without notice.

ART:

a.  Color matching - Using ceramic colors an exact match to a special color cannot be guaranteed.  SUNBURST will make as close a match as possible using PMS numbers as a reference only.

b.  Rosters - Rosters can be printed on mugs.  The art charge is $.30 (H) per name.

c.  Compliance with trademarks and copyright laws - SUNBURST assumes, when artwork has been submitted for reproduction in producing an order, that this artwork was submitted in full compliance with the laws governing copyrights, trademarks, etc.  Purchasers, by placing these orders, agree to hold SUNBURST harmless for any damages, costs and/or expenses arising under these laws as a consequence of our use of said artwork.

d.  Camera ready artwork - SUNBURST reserves the right to determine what is camera-ready artwork.  IN ORDER FOR SUBMITTED ARTWORK TO QUALIFY, IT MUST, AS ITS NAME IMPLIES, BE READY FOR PHOTOGRAPHY (FINAL PHOTOGRAPHY); E.G., WHEN THE SAME ART IS TO BE PRINTED BOTH FRONT AND BACK, CAMERA-READY ART MUST INCLUDE BOTH IMAGES.

On multi-color designs, camera ready color separations must be furnished.

e.  Location of art - Unless specified otherwise, the side of the mug facing a right-handed drinker is considered the front side, and the design will be decorated on that side.

f.  Limitation on length of time art is maintained - Artwork not used on reorders within three years will be discarded.

g.  Copy Change - $42.00 (G), limited to 4 straight lines of standard typestyles.

h.  The size of the art should be specified in the order.  Should this size not be specified, then using its best aesthetic judgment, SUNBURST will determine the size.

i.  An extra art charge is likely when:

     (1)  Art is in the form of a photograph.

     (2)  Art must be taken from the article such as a mug.

j.  PMT charge - $18.75 (G).

k.  Computer Graphics:

     (1)When E-mailing artwork:

          (a)  Convert type to curves.

          (b)  If a specific typeface is required please include that font with the file.

          (c)  VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE FAX A BLACK

          AND WHITE COPY OF THE ARTWORK.

     (2)  Sunburst can process artwork in the following formats:

     IBM Compatible

          Adobe Illustrator CS2

          Adobe Photoshop 7.0

          Corel Draw 8.0

          Adobe PageMaker 6.0

      Macintosh

          Adobe Illustrator 6.0

          Adobe Photoshop 3.0

          Aldus Freehand 5.0

PROOFS:

When requested, a paper proof of one color artwork will be provided at no charge.  A pre-production sample is recommended.  The cost of either a preproduction or speculative sample, which is non-refundable is:

     However, if the order is to be produced without such a sample, a "Waiver of Proof" must be signed before production can begin.

PRODUCTION TIME:

a.  Direct print processing

     (1)  One day service is available at no additional cost on the color designs provided.

          (a)  Customer has prior credit approval.

          (b)  The art must be camera-ready.

     (2)  Three day service is available at no additional cost on one color designs and five day service on two color designs for all firms having prior credit approval.  For three or five day service the art does not have to be camera ready.

     (3)  For non-rush orders, please allow two weeks from receipt of art and order to shipment.

b.  Decal processing - Allow four to six weeks from receipt of art instruction to shipment of order.

These production times assume no color matching or proofing.

OVERRUN / UNDER RUN:

Orders may be shipped as much as 10% over or under the quantity specified.  Orders stating "no overruns" are subject to short shipments as much as 20%; conversely, orders stating "no under runs" are subject to over shipment of as much as 20%.

SHIPPING:

a.  Ownership - Title to the goods passes to the purchaser at the F.O.B point.  SUNBURST will guarantee shipping date only, not the delivery date as it has no control over the carrier.

b.  Split Shipments - SUNBURST will drop ship full carton quantities at no additional cost.  A charge of $7.50 (H) will be made on each shipment after the first shipment for less than full carton quantities.

c.  Claims - Claim for freight adjustment, shortage, breakage, and/or delay must be made with the carrier because recourse rests exclusively with the freight hauler.

d.  Individual Item Shipments - SUNBURST will individually ship any mailer-packed item in the line.  Completed labels arranged in numerical zip code sequence and a master list must be furnished.  To the cost of the mailer and the UPS charges, add $1.25 (G) per mailer for handling.

e.  Means of shipment -

     (1)  UPS - SUNBURST standard "bulk-packed" cartons have been designed to protect the ware during shipment via commercial truck.  When shipping bulk packed orders via UPS, greater protection in packaging will be provided.  To cover the cost of the greater protection, a surcharge of $4.75 per carton (H) will be made on all orders shipping via UPS.

     (2)  Commercial Truck - Unless otherwise requested, all orders will be shipped at a released value "not to exceed" $0.90 per pound.

     (3)  U.S. Postal Service - Shipment via U.S. Postal Service is generally not available.

     (4)  C.O.D. - SUNBURST will not accept orders for C.O.D. shipment.

f.  Charges incurred due to changes in the order will be invoiced.

RETURNS:

Complaints must be made within 30 days of receipt of shipment.  Claims for freight adjustment, breakage, or delay must be filed with the carrier within 15 days of receipt.  Merchandise cannot be returned and will not be accepted without bearing "Return Authorization Number" on all cartons and bills of lading.
